Are You Waiting For Me, Beloved

Are you waiting for me
Beyond the waters,
Where the sand is white
And the grasses are green?
Are you waiting for me beloved
I will come home to you soon.

Are you waiting for me
Where the trees grow tall
To soothe my sorrows
As I finally grieve?
Are you waiting for me, my loved one?
Waiting for both our hearts to heal.

Are you waiting for me
To cry in your arms
Grieving the choice
That my brother made?
Are you waiting for me, my mild one,
With arms spread open to soothe my pain?

Are you waiting for me
Where the sun grew
With my mother and father
Close by your side
Are you waiting for me, my starshine,
With a candle to lead me home?

Are you waiting for me
At the havens
With my best friend and king
Who was slain and reborn?
Are you both waiting for me, beloved
I find myself wishing that it is so.

Are you waiting for me
With anger and spite
Laying the death of our daughter
At my feet?
Are you waiting for me, my conscience
To tear my heart open and make it bleed?

Are you waiting for me
When the sun sets
And the stars and the moon
Shines above
Are you waiting for me, Celebrian
Counting the minutes until I come home?
